Tender description
This specification represents the service requirements for an extended model of universal and targeted volunteering and peer support which is being developed as a key element of Sheffield's Best Start strategy for Early Years. The Provider(s) will be expected to work in close partnership with a full range of health professionals and community workers who support families during pregnancy and post-natally in line with the Healthy Child Programme. The Service principles will build on those which underpin the vision for the Best Start Sheffield in Sheffield namely: Nurturing change starting with pregnancy and babies; being community-led; having a culture of excellence, a skilled and confident workforce and whole family and system integration.
