First Wessex - Play Area Inspections & Maintenance

FW invites you to tender for a Contract for the provision of Play Area Inspections and Maintenance. This contract covers the inspection and maintenance of play areas owned by First Wessex at various locations, across three geographical areas, Aldershot, Eastleigh and Portsmouth, and the supply and installation of “new play area signs”. It involves the inspection, maintenance and repair of all of the play equipment, furniture and ancillary items, to BS EN 1176, including: • Boundary fencing • Gates • Litter bins • Benches & picnic tables • Safety and non-safety surfacing The successful contractor shall provide evidence of membership to a recognised body, such as Register of Play Inspectors International (RPII) and be competent, knowledgeable and experienced in carrying out: • Weekly Visual Inspections • Monthly Operational Inspections • Repairs and Maintenance • Inspection of non-standard play features • Risk Assessment of repairs Keywords: Playgrounds, Play Equipment, Inspections, Repairs, Maintenance
