Tender description

The London Borough of Merton is inviting tenders for an experienced and qualified contractor to work with the Council in order to provide Environmental Enforcement Services in respect of, but not limited to, the: Environmental Protection Act 1990 Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003 Clean Neighbourhood & Environment Act 2005 The scope of this contract is for the patrolling and issuing of Fixed Penalty Notices (FPN’s) for related environmental offences. The primary purpose of this tender and subsequent contract will be to change behaviour towards environmental crime and in particular Littering and Dog Fouling. The Council may, during the contract period, require the enforcement service to be extended to include other offences such as, but not limited to: graffiti, fly-posting, dog control offences, alarm noise (no nominated key-holder), Noise Act offences, nuisance parking, abandoning a vehicle, unauthorised distribution of free literature on designated land etc Keywords: Littering, Dog Fouling, Fixed Penalty Notices
