Tender description

The University of East Anglia (UEA) seeks to replace its gas CHP plant within Energy Centre. The work shall include the design and selection of CHP engines of a level that will provide the University the maximum economic advantage for the next 10 years. The Contract shall include the following: — Design, Supply, installation of combined heat and power engines as detailed within the specification to provide the UEA with the greatest financial advantage for 10 years following their installation. — Following a 2 year warranty period which must include any maintenance required provide separate prices for a 3 year maintenance contract followed by a separate 5 year contract. — Design and installation of dry cooler solutions. — Adaptation of existing chimney to enable installation of the selected engine design. — Design and installation of engine ventilation solution, it is critical that the engine ventilation solution does not adversely affect the boiler ventilation supply system. — Design and installation of interconnecting pipework and cabling solutions to meet these options. — And all other works necessary to meet the delivery of the system as detailed within the specification.
