Tender description

The Employer wishes to undertake a core programme of structural and non structural maintenance surfacing works over a 3 year period with a potential 1 year extension (at the Employer's sole discretion) at various locations throughout the County of Hertfordshire. From time to time, throughout the contract period, Hertfordshire County Council will commission bespoke packages of work using the SMART Framework Agreement to place an order for a specific package of work to be undertaken by the Contractor on a design and build or build only basis. The structural maintenance works are allocated into the following Lots: Lot 1 — Carriageway Machine Surfacing; Lot 2 — Carriageway Surface Dressing; Lot 3 — Carriageway Microsurfacing; Lot 4 — Footway Reconstructions and Surface Treatments; Lot 5 — General Civils; This procurement process is a 2 stage process and you will only be invited to tender if you have been successful at the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) stage. If you wish to be considered you must complete and submit a completed PQQ by the Closing date and time Submissions cannot be uploaded after the closing date/time. To be considered as a Bidder you must complete and submit a PQQ by the deadline of 12:00 Noon on Friday 8.4.2016 Any questions relating to this procurement must be made via correspondence on the website, in accordance with the procurement documents and can be addressed to the main contact as shown in the details above. TUPE related information must be treated as protected data in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and must be kept confidential. Tenderers should be aware that due to the nature of the Works provided, any Framework Agreement formed as a result of this procurement process shall be executed as a deed and attested under the common seal of the Council.
