Tender description

The Ambulance Radio Programme (ARP — acting as an agent for the Department for Health in the UK) aims to roll out and deliver an integrated control room and mobile data vehicle solution for the NHS Ambulance Trusts nationally in England and potentially in Wales. The new service will be based on Agile Technologies; maximising the use of Open Standards; supported or published Application Programme Interfaces (APIs); Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) equipment and hardware; all managed by a multi-disciplinary program team capable of guiding developments into the long-term. The Authority is looking to a supplier to introduce transformation change to current solution. This PIN invites interested suppliers' that can develop an end-to-end design to meet the specified user requirements. and will supply the eventual (specialist control room software). The Authority will provide the necessary hardware and infrastructure in accordance with specifications provided by the Supplier as part of the end-to-end design.
