Tender description

The Council has a requirement for a corporate document management system or systems which will cover all the requirements of the Council for document and record management including case-files and work-flow. The aim is to make Durham County a paperlite organisation and change the culture of the organisation from being dependant on paper to using electronic documents, records and work-flows. The aim is to allow staff to work at any location both inside and outside the organisation and empower the workforce to work independently and self-sufficiently with only minimal administration support. The project is part of a programme of work called New Ways of Working (NWoW) which will change the way staff work within Durham with ICT being a key driver.
