Tender description

The provision of a Child Health Information Service (CHIS) for the NHS England Local Offices at West and North Midlands. The CHIS service consists of 2 components: An IT system — The Child Health Information System used by each clinical provider to capture and record clinical activity. Each system may vary considerably but it generally will provide some sort of cohort analysis function as well as a call and recall function. A ‘child health information services department’ or ‘child health records department’ (CHRD) consisting of a workforce that supports, maintains and administers the IT system, also providing data validation and reporting functions.
