Tender description

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) only: publication and call for competition will be conducted once scope of work is fully defined and approved The UK Government is in the final stages of developing the next 5 year plan for support to Nepal. The focus will likely remain in improving infrastructure, increasing economic development and improving access to jobs as well as expanding the response to the post-earthquake reconstruction. Subject to Business Case approvals, DFID intends to publish a number of new competitive opportunities in the coming months to fulfil part of these commitments. DFID intends to hold 2 early market engagement events during the month of April to discuss specific future programmes requirements in Nepal. The first will cover; — Post-Earthquake Reconstruction in Nepal — Building Back Better — RAP3 Mugu — Humla Link Road Programme And the second event will discuss; — Women's Economic Empowerment.
