Tender description

This is a notice for social and specific services in accordance with Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council Article 74. The London Borough of Waltham Forest (the ‘Authority’) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced single entity to deliver the provision of a High Needs Outreach Support Service. These services are support services to mainstream educational settings that enable learners with Special Educational Needs or disability (SEND) to attend or remain at a mainstream educational settings and make good progress in their attainment. This is achieved by supporting teachers and SENCOs with a range of services including consultancy, advice, formal training and attendance at learner-specific meetings such as team around the child (TAC). The tender procedure being undertaken is light touch regime — open tender. Under the contract the successful provider will be required to actively participate in the achievement of social and/or environmental policy objectives relating to recruitment and training and supply chain initiatives. Accordingly the contract performance conditions may in particular include social and environmental considerations.
