Tender description

Dry-docking services. The Authority has a requirement for a docking period to be undertaken on Training Vessel Tristram. The former RFA vessel Sir Tristram is now a training vessel permanently moored in Portland Harbour. The Naval Authority Group require the vessel to be dry docked every 10 years for inspection and remedial work. This docking period is now due and a 6 week window in the training schedule has been identified in Nov/Dec 16. Underwater surveys and hull thickness checks have been carried out and a specification produced which will be provided to prospective suppliers. No superstructure or upper deck work is planned unless it is absolutely necessary or safety related. A dynamic PQQ response is required along with any expression of interest.
