Tender description

The purpose of this Framework Agreement is to fulfil the supply and delivery requirements of AGMA Authorities and Partner Organisations (‘the Authorities’), whilst aiming to reduce variety and standardise on products wherever possible. As a result the Authorities would require the successful Tenderer to take a proactive approach in meeting this objective. The successful Tenderer will also be required to support the promotion and economic advantages of any suitable alternative products, available currently or during the life of the Framework Agreement. The Authorities wish to appoint a Contractor for The Supply and Delivery of Cleaning & Janitorial Supplies for direct delivery to a number of locations within the Authorities on a regular basis. The Framework Agreement will be available to all the AGMA Authorities therefore tenderers should be aware that any one of the named authorities may choose not to access the Agreement there is no obligation for them to do so. The usage figures quoted within the tender documentation relates to estimated usage, and does not guarantee the actual order. The usage figures quoted within the documentation purely relates to the Authorities estimated usage. The contracting Authority binding contract shall be created between the successful Tenderer and that contracting Authority only on the terms and conditions, specification and scope of requirements specified within the Invitation to Tender. Any variations to the terms and conditions, specification and scope of requirements specified within the Invitation to Tender, will constitute a material change and shall be entirely at the risk of the contracting Authority and the successful Tenderer. It will also be the responsibility of the successful Tenderer to ensure any call-offs are compliant with the Tender. The Framework Agreement will run from 1.6.2016 to 31.5.2019 with an option to extend for a further 1 year. The Framework Agreement will be awarded to a single provider.
