Tender description

Córas Iompair Éireann (“CIÉ”) is the main provider of surface land public transport services within the Republic of Ireland. CIÉ‘s subsidiary companies (Iarnród Éireann — Irish Rail, Bus Éireann — Irish Bus and Bus Átha Cliath — Dublin Bus) have invested significant capital in rolling out on-board WiFi to their respective customer base and currently provide access to free WiFi for passengers on the basis of “bring your own device”. CIÉ is seeking to generate revenue directly from the provision of on-board WiFi and is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified entities with a demonstrated track record in commercialising access to WiFi, including by way of advertising.
