Tender description
The Council has a statutory duty to keep the public highway clean, so far as is reasonably practicable, as set out in the Environmental Protection Act 1990. It also has a duty to maintain the public highway under the Highways Act 1980. The weed spraying of hard surfaces is currently carried out 3 times a year between April and October. Each application must be completed within 6 weeks of the start date.
