Supply services of personnel including temporary staff

Tender description

The subject matter of this Notice is the supply service of specific types of temporary personnel required to assist in the daily delivery of front line services. For the avoidance of doubt the required temporary personnel are LGV drivers, general operatives (including loaders, cleansers, non-LGV drivers) and grounds maintenance workers. The purpose of this early market engagement exercise is to establish whether or not there is sufficient interest in the market for the delivery of this service and to inform any subsequent procurement exercise including the development and refinement of the service specification and associated terms and conditions of the contract. From 2016 the forecast contract value for this service will be in the range of 210 000 GBP to 300 000 GBP per year. The contract will be for 4 years. The contract will be procured in accordance with the EU Restricted procedure. This is a soft market test only; publication and call for competition may be conducted once the scope of the required service is fully defined and approved.
