North Lincolnshire Council is undertaking a soft market testing exercise to help it determine the best way to support its School catering service and Schools with regard to online dinner money payment. As part of this process it is interested in entering into dialogue with market specialists from the industry to provide information on what systems are available and what they are capable of. North Lincolnshire Council operate a fully managed catering service which currently provides a meals service to over 80 % of the schools within North Lincolnshire. As part of continuous improvement, the service is looking at the current online payments system in use and realise that since award, the market has moved forward. As such, it is vital that some information gathering takes place in order to secure the optimum system for schools and the council.
