Tender description

The primary duty of the contractor/contractors is the safe removal and the recycling/reprocessing of a range of recyclables from Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council Recycling Centres for the period of 1.12.2015 to 30.11.2017 (with an option to extend for a further year subject to review and performance). The contractor is responsible for the safe removal and recycling/reprocessing of approximately 1 200 tonnes per year of soil waste from Bruslee HRC and O'Neill Road HRC in Newtownabbey. The contractor is responsible for the safe removal and recycling/reprocessing of approximately 693 tonnes per year of metals waste from Bruslee HRC and O'Neill Road HRC in Newtownabbey. The contractor is responsible for the safe removal and recycling/reprocessing of approximately 339 tonnes per year of cardboard waste from Bruslee HRC and O'Neill Road HRC in Newtownabbey.
