Tender description

The Royal Parks are seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and qualified contractors for the installation of a strengthening scheme to The Harbour Walls in St. James’s Park and Green Park. The works to the Portland stone structure will include; the installation of Cintec sock anchors to reinforce the existing walls, installation of new curved stainless steel beams, removal and adaption of existing coping stones, drilling and dowelling of bottle balustrades including replacement where necessary. Other minor repairs of cleaning, pinning and replacement of cracked stones will also be undertaken. Works are not expected to start on site before July 2016.
