KMCAS-094 Adult Domiciliary Care Contingency Contract

Tender description

The provision of a domiciliary care service for Adults in South Kirklees for a minimum of 3 months and an option to extend for a further 6 months. We have identified a need for 350 hours per week in South Kirklees. See Schedule F map for boundaries of these areas. Bidders will be expected to provide a Service anywhere in South Kirklees. The aim of the Service is to support the Councils Short Term and Urgent Support (STUST) and Rapid Response Teams (RR), in helping to relieve short term pressures on the Domiciliary Care Service. The Council will pay £16.50 per hour inclusive for care delivered. This includes but is not limited to weekend working, Public Holidays and travel time between Service Users. This rate will be paid when the Service Providers Staff are delivering the Service outlined in the Service Specification to Service Users. There may be times when the Staff allocated to this Service are not engaged in delivering the Services outlined in the Service Specification but are engaged on other duties e.g. quality visits. Under these circumstances we would pay a rate of £13.50 per hour.
