Individual Residential Children’s Home Placement

Dorset County Council, Children’s Services Directorate is looking for providers to express an interest in tendering for an individual residential children’s home placement, seeking tenders from suitably experienced and capable service providers for a long-term placement for a 15 year old girl in Dorset. We would like to hear from providers who may have a vacancy towards the end of February or early March or who would be interested in establishing new service provision in Dorset. The preferred area for this placement is Bridport, Dorchester, East Dorset or Poole. We are ideally seeking a singleton placement; however, this young person could be placed with up to two older girls. For providers who express an interest, we can forward the up to date profile and risk assessment, we also intend to hold a ‘meet the team around the child’ event where there would be an opportunity to engage with professionals who know our young person.
