Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is inviting expressions of interest from a single (or single consortium) Provider for our Healthy Lifestyle Hub. Southend-on-Sea Borough Council are implementing a comprehensive programme of tailored lifestyle interventions and services for people living in Southend aged 16 years or over. The purpose of the Programme is to improve the health and well-being of the resident population in Southend and it will be delivered by a number of providers across a range of service areas, including: —Smoking Cessation and Tobacco Harm Reduction. —Weight management. —Physical Activity Interventions. —Health trainers (including workplace interventions). —Alcohol recovery. —Diabetes prevention. —Falls prevention / Postural stability. —Social prescribing / Mental health support / Emotional Health and Wellbeing. —Generic self-management. —Other programmes as required/commissioned by the Authority.
