Tender description

The Health Board sought bids from providers to support a number of vulnerable adults who may have a learning disability, mental health issues, physical disabilities and/or autism spectrum conditions in their own tenancies within a cluster housing setting in Caithness. Many of the individuals will be moving from Forse House, which is an independent sector care home specialising in providing support to individuals with a learning disability. The Health Board will commission support services to deliver support to small clusters of individuals living in a number of closely located properties in Caithness. The close location of individuals will enable significant elements of shared support, particularly at night, but will also enable support to be delivered in a flexible manner to ensure the individuals can be as independent as possible. The service commencement will be phased. It is hoped that some individuals will move in April/May 2016 and the other tenants June/July 2016.
