Tender description

Halton Borough Council wishes to undertake a regular programme of highway coring works in highway reinstatements on the Authority’s Highway Network. The purpose being to determine compliance with National reinstatement specifications as given in the ‘Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways 2nd and 3rd Edition’ (SROH), dependent on the completion date of the reinstatement. The Council does not guarantee or warrant in any way, the amount of work that a Contractor may be offered under this request for quote. It is anticipated that the Council may require between 150 to 250 cores to be taken and analysed per year from all classifications of carriageways and footways. The coring contractor shall provide an evidenced interpretative report documenting certain physical properties of each of the cores taken. Keywords: Reinstatements
