Construction work for buildings relating to leisure, sports, culture, lodging and restaurants. Construction work of leisure facilities. Leisure centre construction work. Landscaping work for parks. Park and playground equipment. Landscaping work for playgrounds. Watford Borough Council wishes to appoint an experienced building and landscape contractor for an approx 4 500 000 GBP Cassiobury Park Improvement Work scheme. It includes works for a new ‘Hub’ Visitor centre, restoration and extension to The Cha Cafe, new Croquet Pavilion, landscape improvements to the entrances, infrastructure and the Cha garden, relocation and restoration of a listed bandstand structure, new pools area and arboricultural works with extensive landform modelling, extension to a locally listed character building. The scope of landscape works includes footpath construction, resurfacing, street furniture replacement, fencing, site clearance works, entrance features, natural play areas, a wet play/pools area, planting, excavation and ground-works.
