Tender description

'Our customer, the MRC National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) are tendering for a Full Fermenter system, tailored for microbial applications. The contractor will manufacture, supply, deliver, position, install, test and commission the Fermenter system at the Francis Crick Institute, Brill Place, Kings Cross, London, NW1 1HG. The Fermenter system shall be purchased via an official MRC purchase order, formed against a Contract Supply Document for the equipment, competitively tendered, negotiated and agreed by the Crick with the Contractor. The MRC invites tender(s) or bid(s) for the items described, specified and listed and generally in accordance with the given programme. The MRC will give due consideration to any tender(s) or bid(s) whether of standard manufacture or of an alternative design solution(s) that provides and delivers innovation, good design, accounts for on-going product development and clearly demonstrates measurable subsequent benefits. For all types of tender(s) or bid(s) submitted to the MRC, and any that are subsequently awarded a formal Contract Supply Document and official purchase order, the MRC shall reserve the right to agree contract flexibility and adjust item quantity requirements and/or the delivery timing set out in the given programme, should it be conducive for the MRC to do so.'
