Tender description

'NHS Stoke-on-Trent Clinical Commissioning Group wish to invite prospective providers to express their interest for the provision of community based Extended Minor Surgery Service which will offer patients care closer to home. The service is to be delivered on behalf of all patients registered with a Stoke-on-Trent GP practices. The service will provide a high quality and safe service in accordance with applicable local/ national standards (e.g. NICE) and guidance and/or issued by a competent body (e.g. Royal Colleges). Providers will need to provide assurance of Clinical Competency and evidence relevant qualifications. Service providers will need to provide CQC certification and must be registered for Surgical Procedures Regulated Activity at a specified premises location. The service may be offered to one or more successful bidders. The service is anticipated to commence April 2015.'
