Tender description

'The Project comprises the redevelopment of an existing Local Authority Care Home. The works comprise the construction of a 22 place extension in three blocks to the existing 44 places and refurbishment of 16 existing non en-suite rooms to create 10 en-suite rooms giving a 60 place unit overall, each with en-suite bathrooms. The project includes extensions to and refurbishment of the public spaces, kitchen and laundry to accommodate and serve the larger number residents and works to the garden areas and grounds to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for the residents and visitors. The project also includes a smaller scale refurbishment of the Gilbertson Day Centre.
