Built Sports Facilities and Playing Pitch Strategies 2016 - 2033

Tender description

As part of an on-going commitment to develop sustainable participation in Sport and Physical Activity and Active Recreation, Bolsover District Council (BDC) and North East Derbyshire District Council (NEDDC) as part of their Strategic Alliance (SA), intends to employ a Sport England approved consultant. The consultancy is asked to undertake an audit of built sports facilities, playing pitch and outdoor sports facilities in their respective Districts culminating in the preparation of two separate (BDC and NEDDC) standalone’ Built Sports Facilities and Playing Pitch Strategies (BSFPPS) for the period 2016-2033. The BSFPPS should meet all relevant requirements including those identified in the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). It is proposed that the work be completed as close as possible to the end of June 2016 to meet strategic requirements within the Councils current priority objectives and action plans.
