Provision of Maintenance and Repair Services for Medical Equipment and Devices.

Tender description

Tameside Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (the “Authority) is seeking requests to participate for the provision of Maintenance and repair services for Medical Equipment and Devices. The purpose of this exercise is to invite economic operators for the provision of Maintenance services for Medical Equipment and devices on to a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). The DPS shall be operated as a completely electronic process and shall be open throughout the period of validity (5 years) of the purchasing system to any economic operator that satisfies the selection criteria. Individual contracts raised under the DPS can commence at any time after the commencement date - projected January 2016. The Authority cannot guarantee to call off any specific quantities during the DPS period and acceptance onto the DPS is not a guarantee of being awarded specific contracts. However economic operators not on the DPS will not be able to provide for opportunities that become available. The Services are split into 5 Lots; Diagnosis, Prevention, Monitoring, Treatment and Alleviation of disease. Economic operators can request to participate in one or more lots. The DPS covers all aspects of equipment maintenance from basic cover, through to fully comprehensive and/or managed equipment service. For each specific procurement, contracting authorities will invite all admitted participants relating to the relevant lot to submit a tender based on the published documentation.
