PAN1152 - Corporate & Sports Facilities Uniforms (Supplies)

Leicester City Council is looking to appoint one for each of the following lots: Lot 1 - Receptionists & Duty Officers Lot 2 - Gym Staff & Swimming Teachers Lot 3 - Café /Bar Staff To assist Suppliers, the document attached below provides a detailed specification for the initial estimated requirement. This is an indicative amount for information only and no guarantee of future contract value should be assumed. Following the initial roll out of the uniform across the organisation the successful Supplier will be required to supply and deliver uniforms as required to meet the needs of the organisation in terms of any new staff requirements or additional items required by staff. The Supplier shall deliver the goods within 14 days following the receipt of a valid purchase order. Uniforms must comply with HMRC uniform requirements and therefore ‘tax tabbing’ must be included on all garments. The required Logo is shown below and should be sized at 2cm x 2cm on all uniform items. Suppliers must note that the Authority does not bind itself to ordering any minimum quantity of goods in any one order. All goods must be securely and appropriately packaged and clearly addressed. Drivers must exercise caution while making deliveries to Authority’s premise. All items must conform to the specification or better and Suppliers must detail how their proposals meet the specification. In addition the items supplied must be durable and machine washable (if applicable). Where applicable, the item must comply with the latest European/ British Standards.
