VA/2360 - Pension Scheme Advisor

Tender description

The services of a Pension Scheme Advisor as and when required by the University of Leeds. Working with the Finance Director and Human Resources Director of the University of Leeds over the next 3 years to: - provide advice in relation to our local schemes to include but not limited to : o Scheme benefits and design o Long term strategy to manage / minimise risk o Investment policy o Financial – valuation assumptions and contribution schedule negotiations o Ongoing governance -To provide advice on new pension legislation or other pension developments which impact the University and raise matters to consider as a result of such changes. -To provide advice relating to USS developments, in particular their impact on the University and raise matters to consider as a result of such developments. -To provide FRS102 accounting advice, specifically covering annual accounting assumptions and disclosures, including the ability to model scenarios using different assumptions. -To provide other ad hoc pensions advice
