Tender description

o To deliver a service at Simon House, between the hours of 20.00 and 08.00, that meets the broad safeguarding needs of vulnerable residents and supports the general maintenance and security of the building. The Safeguarding Service will: a) help maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety and security within the building by carrying out regular checks (e.g. patrols and monitoring of CCTV, alarm testing) and maintaining accurate records (e.g. visitor log books) b) be a key holder for the building and to allow/supervise access as appropriate c) assist residents to understand the housing management policies, for example the consequences of anti-social behaviour and where it can be reported d) regularly monitor the general safety and wellbeing of residents including sign-posting residents to support services where appropriate e) report any concerns relating to safeguarding of vulnerable people using the correct procedures f) develop and maintain constructive relationships with residents, care and support providers and others from the wider community
