Tender description

East Sussex & Surrey County Council (ESCC & SCC) invite quotes for the provision of a corporate Eye Care scheme for East Sussex & Surrey County Councils. If the Councils wish to accept a quote for this service, the length of the arrangement shall be for two (2) years with an option to extend for a further one (1) year and the successful supplier will be required to sign a contract to this effect. The contractor will manage the end to end process for an employee wishing to have an eye care assessment and, (where it is advised by a qualified optometrist) the provision of glasses for VDU use to enable the Council to meet the requirements of the Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations by providing basic eye care benefits to its employees.
