Recycling of textiles from Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) in Warwickshire

Tender description

Warwickshire County Council is looking for the provision of clothing, shoes and textiles reuse/recycling service which will include all of the following elements: a) the provision of appropriate Containers at 8 Collection Points/HWRCs, b) the collection and onward transportation of Goods from 8 Collection Points/HWRCs, and c) the reuse and/or recycling of the Goods Clothing, shoes and textiles are currently collected in secure banks. As an incentive for residents to donate at HWRCs, 10% of the authority’s net income will be forwarded to the charity, Guide Dogs. Contract term: 12 months with an option to extend by a further 12 month period (to a maximum of 2 years). Warwickshire County Council will be using its e-tendering system (CSW-JETS) for the administration of this procurement process. Providers must register with the system (if they haven’t previously done so) in order to be able to express an interest in the project and download documents.
