Primary Eye Care: Minor Eye Conditions

High Weald Lewes Havens CCG is considering potential routes (including procurement) to commission a Minor Eye Conditions Service, to assess and treat minor eye conditions that can be appropriately managed within a primary eye healthcare service. The Commissioner wishes to engage with service providers to gain a better understanding of their views about future ways to commission this service. Providers are asked to review the information in the Draft Service Specification and to feed back comments by completing the Request for Information (RFI) document which should be returned to Imran Yunus by 15th January 2016, who can also be contacted by phone (see the RFI document for details). This exercise is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process. It is intended as an awareness, communication and information gathering exercise offering an opportunity for all providers to help inform commissioning intentions. This process will assist the Commissioner when considering if procurement is an appropriate route to use to commission the service. A new advertisement will be published should procurement be the chosen route in the future. The two documents available are 1) Draft Service Specification 2) Request for Information
