Grant for the development of undergraduate degree courses with ‘opt-in’ qualified teacher status (QTS). Please note this is for a grant and not a contract.

Tender description

Seed-funding is being offered by the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) to successful bidders to support the rapid development of undergraduate mathematics and/or computing with ‘opt-in’ QTS degree courses to increase the number of mathematics and computing teachers entering the profession in England. Estimated value: Bidders may submit bids for up to £10,000 seed-funding to support degree courses commencing the QTS content of the course in 2017/18. Length of contract: As a seed-funded grant to support the development of ‘opt-in’ degree courses commencing in 2017/18, a one-off payment will be made by BACS transfer to successful grant recipients upon receipt of the signed grant agreement. Payment is expected to be made by 31 March 2016 however where this cannot be guaranteed, NCTL will contact the successful grant recipient.
