External Support to assist in an Independent, Support Needs Assessment for Residents and Day Service Attendees in Disability Services.

Tender description

The HSE invites tenders from suitably qualified companies/individuals to provide an independent, supports needs assessment of approximately 92 residents and 15 day service users in Disability Services. The client group have moderate, high and intensive support needs. There are other processes underway associated with organisational review, change and development associated with this service so this tender is specifically focussed on individualised supports needs assessment. This independent, needs assessment must be completed in a professional and sensitive manner. It is therefore essential that the personnel the tenderer proposes to undertake the assessments has comprehensive previous experience of significant levels of disability. The HSE requests that service providers respond to this Invitation to Tender only if they are confident that they have both the level of expertise and the capacity within their company to meet the requirement of the HSE within the timeframe advised in Section 1.3 Specification of Requirement below. The required services are Annex IIB Services, and accordingly only Articles 23 and 35(4) of the new Consolidated Public Procurement Directive 2004/18/EC for the award of Public Service contracts as amended will apply to this competition.
