Tender description

Project Title - Defining the components of marine ecosystems critical to ecosystem service generation This project aims to develop an operational description of ecosystem services delivered by the marine environment. In particular, to consider the spatial dimension of ecosystem services, both inshore and offshore, i.e. how marine ecosystem services generation is dependent upon the biotic or abiotic processes that occur across the matrix of different biotopes found in the United Kingdom’s marine environment. This is different to previous approaches which have mostly considered what ecosystem services are delivered by a particular habitat.
