Arun District Council - Arun Infrastructure Capacity Study and Delivery Plan 2016

Arun District Council (ADC) is seeking to appoint appropriately experienced consultants to undertake a district-wide infrastructure capacity study and delivery plan (ICSDP) for the Local Planning Authority Area of Arun District. This area excludes those parts of the district which fall within the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA). The work should be undertaken within a budget of £15,000. The purpose of the study is to inform the development of the Arun Local Plan main modifications. The ICSDP will provide the information necessary to bring forward required infrastructure projects in a timely manner to support growth. The study will need to do the following: • take a strategic approach to determining existing capacity of the District’s infrastructure; • assess the infrastructure implications of a number of potential growth scenarios; • inform the Council’s selection of a preferred development strategy and development sites and; • provide a detailed assessment of the requirements for, and deliverability of, infrastructure necessary to support the selected strategy.
