Supported Living for Learning Disability Service Users

Tender description

Dorset County Council is looking to re-tender night support and individually assessed domiciliary care packages, for a total of 35 individuals with a learning disability who are currently accommodated at three supported properties, and funded by Dorset County Council. These properties are; Orchard Court, Carlton Road South, Weymouth The Sunflowers, Carlton Road North, Weymouth Digby Court, Edward Road, Dorchester The contract for core hours/night support will be let for two years with an option to extend for a further year. The aim is to provide maximum choice and control for customers after the first year of the contract by supporting them to move to Individual Service Funds or Direct Payments. This model is now standard DCC contracting practice. Please note that the information that is supplied is based on the most up to date information on individual outcomes and needs, there may be changes to these requirements between now and April 2016. The hours quoted for all support packages may fluctuate in line with changes to individual requirements.
