Supported Living for Learning Disability Service Users

Tender description

Dorset County Council is looking to re-tender night support and individually assessed domiciliary care packages, for individuals with a learning disability who are currently accommodated at the three supported properties, and funded by Dorset County Council. These properties are; Orchard Court, Carlton Road South, Weymouth The Sunflowers, Carlton Road North, Weymouth Digby Court, Edward Road, Dorchester The contract for core hours/night support will be let for two years with an option to extend for a further year. The aim is to provide maximum choice and control for customers after the first year of the contract by supporting them to move to Individual Service Funds or Direct Payments. This model is now standard DCC contracting practice.
