Tender description
A CNC machine tool was needed to increase the capacity of the ISIS Accelerator Operations R78 workshop to enable STFC to meet demand of current and forthcoming projects. It was vital that the machine utilised the Ultimotion control system software programme and that existing tooling and accessories were compatible with DXT software importation and a spindle speed of 10,000 rpm.
