Greenbridge Roundabout Improvements Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of Greenbridge Roundabout Improvements. Project Description The contract is for carrying out improvement works to the Greenbridge Roundabout, Swindon. This work involves constructing additional lanes on the incoming arms and on the roundabout, new drainage, street lighting, traffic signals and pavement works. The project is a necessary improvement to relieve a peak-time bottleneck and improve road links towards the east of Swindon, where a major new housing development will happen over the next 15 years as part of the New Eastern Villages expansion. Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents. Contract Period The contract will be initially for a period of 8 months commencing 28th March 2016. The relevant tender documents are included within this project webpage as attachments. Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 1st February 2016, 14.00GMT.
