Contract for Youth Employment Initiative 2016-2018 - DurhamWorks Subcontractor Framework Durham County Council is receiving funding from the European Social Fund (ESF) as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England. The Department for Work and Pensions is the Managing Authority for the England ESF programme. DurhamWorks has been created as the vehicle to deliver the learning, training, employment, support, and development activities which are funded under European Social Fund (ESF) and Youth Employment Initiative (YEI) funding. The funding has not yet been confirmed and all bidders should note that any award under this tender activity is subject to the funding being confirmed by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP). The Subcontractor Framework is intended to complement the activities provided by the DurhamWorks Delivery Partners adding additional capacity and filling identified gaps in provision based on participant need. Participants must meet relevant criteria and be residents of County Durham. This Framework (the Framework) is for provision of DurhamWorks learning, training, employment and support activities for young people and young adults aged 15 - 24, split into two Lots: Lot 1 Engagement & Progression of Vulnerable and Disadvantaged Groups; Lot 2 DurhamWorks New Employment Zone.
