Commercial sales support for Sefton Council’s Sport and Recreation Department version 3

Specification Purpose & Scope • Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council has six Activate Fitness Suites. • At present we have c.11, 000 fitness members. • We are seeking to attract and retain a further 2,300 members by 31st April 2016. • We are also seeking to improve our systems and approach to fitness membership sales and retention. SMBC are therefore seeking proposals from external agencies that are able to provide additional sales staff, staff training and specialist sales and retention support. Exact targets will be set and reviewed regularly following the completion of latent demand surveys by the appointed partner. The initial contact will be until the 31st April 2016 at which point the partnership will be reviewed. It is anticipated that the successful partner will retain a % of the sales generated, however re also recognize that set up costs may also be required.
