Bolton at Home - Meet the Buyer - Construction Framework Event

This is an invitation to all suppliers and contractors including 3rd sector and social enterprises in Bolton and the surrounding areas to come along to Bolton at Home’s Meet the Buyer Construction Framework event. Events will be held over three afternoons: Tuesday 5th January, Wednesday 6th January and Thursday 7th January 2016. At The Green Café, Valley House, 98 Waters Meeting Road, The Valley, Bolton, BL1 8SW 16:00pm presentation start until 18:00pm Bolton at Home would like to introduce themselves and provide information on how we will be tendering out future construction opportunities using The Chest, North West's online web portal. This system enables both existing and new suppliers & contractors to view all forthcoming contract opportunities for Bolton at Home and other housing associations and councils in the North West via a singular portal. Introduction to the organisation and our Mission Statement Key statistics and principles Social Value within Procurement Responsible Procurement What Bolton at Home expected from a supplier/contractor Summary of the types of procurement procedures Registering on the Chest (if you haven't done so already) Demonstration of the portal system and searching opportunities Question and Answer session Refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon sessions. Due to demand and venue size, unfortunately we are only limited to one place per organisation. The event will be on a first come, first placed basis. Please register your interest and you will be added to the interested parties list and then notified via The Chest if you have been accepted and given a successful place at one of the three evening events. For those who are unsuccessful, if I place becomes available due to cancellation we will get in touch with the next supplier on the list and offer this place to them.
