Tender description
Irish Library Authorities are currently engaged in a large project to migrate their existing Library Management Systems (a mix of Axiell OpenGalaxy, Galaxy 2000 and SirsiDynix/Horizon systems) to a newly procured National LMS (Sierra) provided by Innovative Interfaces Global Ltd. This migration is planned to progress throughout 2015 and 2016 at which time all libraries will be using the new system. The aim of this tender is to procure data migration services from qualified service providers to extract the relevant data from each library authority’s current system into a format that can be imported into the Sierra system. The output format required is given in Appendix B and the actual import of data to the Sierra system is outside the scope of this tender.
