CONTRACT AWARDED. Winning bidder - CommuniGate Marketing & PR, the Netherlands. Tourism Ireland invites Tenders from established Public Relations consultants on how it can best achieve increased public awareness and positive media coverage of the Island of Ireland as a leisure destination in the Belgian and Dutch Markets. It is expected that the organisation(s) appointed for this project will advise and assist Tourism Ireland, BeNe to: - Build awareness of Ireland as an attractive, accessible and competitive destination: highlight the uniqueness of the country, the range of holiday experiences available as well as create a desire for immediate action to book NOW - Provide expert advice and assistance in the development of an integrated PR and Communications strategy for the promotion of the Island of Ireland as a tourism destination in the BeNe market. - Achieve positive media coverage of Ireland, Tourism Ireland and Irish industry partner marketing activities in Belgium and The Netherlands in a wide variety of media – including national and regional newspapers, travel and lifestyle magazines, TV and radio (all in French and Dutch). The Contract Period will be for 1 year, with the option to extend annually for up to two further years, subject to budget and annual performance review, and other factors. It is anticipated that the Contract will commence on 1st of January 2015
