Tender description

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine invites quotations for the supply of one (1) Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization with Time of Flight Mass Spectrometer and associated consumables and aftersales technical service. The supply and commissioning of the equipment together with the provision of training is required within 6 weeks of award of contract. Tenderers must complete the attached Specification Form for the specified equipment. Tenders must be prepared, presented and received under separate documents as provided in the documents attached. The Requirement specifications for the Goods and Services required are described below in the Specification Forms. Proposals for the provision of ex-demo model Goods/Instrument(s) are acceptable to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine will accept proposals for best available technology to test or purchase subject to the terms and conditions of the RFT Requirements and Specifications, and, the terms and conditions of any commenced contract. Please note in relation to this tender document, where reference is made to a particular make, source, process, trademark, type, patent, or industry term, it should be understood that this is accompanied by the words “or equivalent”.
