Tender description

As part of the Bernal Project, UL is establishing a National Pharmaceutical Powder Processing and Analysis laboratory. Hot-melt extrusion (HME) and wet granulation using twin screw extrusion is an innovative method for the continuous processing of pharmaceuticals. This tender document is for a twin screw extruder system with capabilities for HME and Twin Screw Wet Granulation (TSG). The extruder will be operated in a "starve-fed" mode; therefore, a feeding unit (gravimetric or volumetric) is required.
